Goal: Add short tags like isn’t it? / do you? to sound natural and check agreement.
A question tag is a mini-question at the end. Positive sentence → negative tag; negative → positive. Use the same helper verb: “It’s hot, isn’t it?” “You don’t like it, do you?” “She can swim, can’t she?” This replaces the Malayalam-style “…, no?”. Falling tone = you expect agreement; rising tone = real question.
