Goal: Say all 26 letters, know the 5 vowels, and spell your own name in English.
English has 26 letters. Five are vowels — A, E, I, O, U — and the rest are consonants. Every English word needs at least one vowel sound. Letters have a name (the letter A is called “ay”) and a sound (in “apple”, A sounds like “a”). Learn the names first so you can spell; learn the sounds so you can read.
2Examples
A a — appleay
B b — ballbee
C c — catsee
E e — eggee
I i — inkeye
O o — orangeoh
