Goal: Say how, when and how often something happens with adverbs.
An adverb describes a verb: how (slowly, well), when (now, yesterday), how often (always, sometimes, never). Most ‘how’ adverbs are adjective + -ly: quick → quickly. Irregular: good → well, fast → fast, hard → hard. Frequency adverbs go before the main verb but after be: “I always walk” / “I am always late”.
