How to Build Better Habits
Habits are the small automatic actions that shape your days. You can design them on purpose.
The ideas
- Link a new habit to something you already do.
- Make good habits easy and visible.
- Make unhelpful habits a little harder.
For example
Keeping a water bottle on your desk makes drinking water the easy choice. Keeping snacks out of sight makes grazing less likely.
Try this
- Pick one habit to start.
- Write: 'After I ___, I will ___.'
- Track it for 14 days.
Reflect: Which habit would make the biggest difference to your week?
Speak about it
