A verb is a doing word
It tells what a person or thing does.

Every sentence needs a verb
Without a verb, it is not a sentence.
The bird sings.I eat rice.We play football.
Adding -s for he, she, it
With he, she or it, most verbs get an -s.
I run → She runs.They eat → He eats.You sing → It sings.

Am, is, are are verbs too.
