The Lion and the Mouse

A tiny mouse saves the king of the jungle.

Ages 3–6 · 6 pages · Lesson: Kindness
🦁

A lion was sleeping. A little mouse ran over his nose by mistake.

🐾

The lion woke up and caught the mouse. “I will eat you!”

🐭

“Please let me go,” said the mouse. “One day I will help you.” The lion laughed, but let him go.

🕸️

Days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net. He roared and roared.

🐭

The mouse heard him. He ran to the net and chewed the ropes — nibble, nibble, nibble.

🎉

The net fell open. The lion was free! “Thank you, little friend,” he said.
