🐜

A little ant was thirsty. It went to the river to drink.

🌊

Splash! The ant fell into the water. “Help!” it cried.

🕊️

A dove in a tree saw the ant. It dropped a leaf into the water.

🍃

The ant climbed on the leaf and floated to the bank. “Thank you, dove!”

🪃

Later, a hunter came to catch the dove. The ant saw him.

🦶

The ant bit the hunter’s toe. “Ouch!” The dove flew away, safe.

Moral of the story

Help others, even when you are small. Kindness comes back to you.

Ask your child: What happened first? Who was kind? What would you do? Then let them retell the story in their own words.
