A noun is a naming word
It names a person, a place, an animal or a thing.

Common and proper nouns
Proper nouns are special names and start with a capital letter.
a city → Kochia girl → Meeraa river → Ganga
One or many (singular / plural)
Add -s or -es for more than one. Some words change completely.
